Indian automobile giant Mahindra & Mahindra is getting ready to strengthen its hold in the SUV market even more. The company recently announced that it plans to launch around 16 new models by 2031. But before that, 2026 is going to be a very exciting year for Mahindra fans because the company is preparing to launch 5 brand-new SUVs in India.
From updated versions of Scorpio and Thar to futuristic electric SUVs, Mahindra is planning something big for every type of customer. Let’s check out the full list.
1. Mahindra Scorpio N & Scorpio Classic Facelift
Mahindra Scorpio N and Mahindra Scorpio Classic are already among the most popular SUVs in India, and now both models are expected to receive major updates in 2026.
According to reports, the new Scorpio N facelift may come with:
• Redesigned front grille
• Updated LED headlamps
• Stylish 19-inch alloy wheels
• Bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
• Fully digital instrument cluster
• Panoramic sunroof in top variants
The Scorpio Classic is also expected to receive cosmetic and feature upgrades to keep it fresh in the market.
2. 3-Door Mahindra Thar Facelift
Mahindra Thar lovers also have good news. Mahindra is planning to update the 3-door Thar with several premium features inspired by the Thar Roxx edition.

However, no major engine changes are expected in this facelift version.
